Who We Are
Once a small, rural farming community, the Village of New Albany is now one of Columbus's most upscale suburbs. Thoughtfully researched and carefully planned, it is a community of open green spaces, pristine white fences, beautiful landscaping, and stately Georgian architecture.
New Albany is well known for the quality of its school system. In fact, the New Albany-Plain Local School District was named a Blue Ribbon School of Excellence by the U.S. Department of Education. Housed on a beautiful learning campus, it features state-of-the-art technology, computer, and science centers; art and music studios; and a nature preserve. The adjacent Health and Wellness Center includes private physicians' offices; an innovative, private childcare facility; and a center for community wellness courses and activities.
For outdoor enthusiasts, New Albany offers three parks; soccer, baseball, and tennis complexes; a pool; youth and adult sports leagues; and several golf courses, including the Jack Nicklaus-designed, 27-hole championship course at the New Albany Country Club.
